Transport & Strategy Pty Ltd is a specialist project management and advisory company, with demonstrated experience in successfully implementing city-shaping multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects across the Transport industry.
We have significant experience;
- Working through the entire project life cycle, from feasibility, concept and business case formulation, through the Development & Planning phase, Procurement, Delivery, Commissioning, Handover to operations and maintenance phases.
- Supporting State side (authorities, departments etc.), Contractor side (Tier 1s etc.), Accredited Rail Transport Operator side, Design house side.
- With many different types of contracts such as alliances, PPP, D&C, Construct only, as well as smaller sub-contracts of constructors, designers, consultants and material procurement.
This has meant that we have relevant experience in creating positive outcomes from modelling, multi-criteria analysis etc. to drive best option and VfM proposition for a project, finding an appropriate balance between best for network, best for delivery authority and best for DTF solution.
Our staff are fully conversant in the DEDJTR’s Delivers – Strategic Plan 2016 (and 2017-2018 Update) plus subordinate plans. This includes the Victorian Government’s Regional Network Development Plan and policy objectives, Western Rail Plan, DOT Stabling and Maintenance Strategy, Capacity enhancement strategies to cater for increasing patronage demand such as Melbourne Metro Tunnel 1 and 2, the Suburban Rail Loop (SURL), Airport Rail Link with associated fast rail to Geelong, Regional Rail Revival and electrification to Melton, Wyndham Vale, Baxter and Wallan.
We are experienced in dealing with all the different Government departments and authorities, such as DEDJTR, RPV, LXRP, DOT, Public Transport Victoria, VicRoads, DTF etc.
Our staff are well accustomed to developing papers for decision and presenting at forums such as Project Steering Committee (PSC), Network Development Partnership (NDP), Development Reference Group (DRG), Development Working Group (DWG) etc., all of which require an expert acumen and understanding of the government policy objectives and transport strategies that the underpinning projects need to support.
More importantly, we also understand how all these entities and committees / working groups interface and rely on input from each other. This is critical in providing high-quality services to our clients.
